Barnham,
First, I would like to comment that you are a good man. Perhaps too good for this place, since so often you took it upon yourself to try and earnestly solve these cases and bring the guilty to justice. It's admirable, if boring. Or at least it would be, if not for the blood on your hands.
I knew.
But in truth, I never had much interest in hunting down the guilty. Those reasons you may discover in time, or you may not. It's hard to say, since the Sheriff mentioned to me that he would prefer not to explain the actual truth of what the purpose of this place was. You're better off not asking. It's quite ridiculous. But even so, justice was never meant to win out here. Only entertainment. I believe we have all provided that.
As you will be the only responsible adult left, I hope that you'll look after the rest of them. They certainly need the supervision.
